Jess joined the University in January 2023 initially as an Exercise Physiologist working with Hereford and Worcester Fire service. Prior to this role she completed an MSc in Strength, Conditioning and Performance at University College Birmingham while working in various roles and placement positions within Worcester City Women FC and a local neurological walking football team.
Jess completed her bachelor’s degree in Business and Marketing at Flagler College located in St Augustine, Florida. During her time studying there, she was a collegiate athlete for the women’s football team.
Jess has vast experience working in college recruitment after spending many years with College Scholarships USA where she identified athletes and helped them obtain scholarships to continue education and play at a higher level within the United States.
Jess’s main interests lie within strength and conditioning, ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) and return to play and anything women’s football based.
Qualifications
- MSc in Strength, Conditioning and Performance
- BA in Business Administration with a minor in Marketing
- British Weightlifting (BWL) Level One Award
- Level 3 Diploma in Fitness Instructing and PT
- FA Level One certification in Football Coaching

- The Exercising Human for Sports Therapists

Jess is keen to explore future research opportunities within women’s football.
