The 6ft 6in Combo Forward comes to the ¹ú²úÊÓƵ-owned Wolves after four years at Chicago State University where he played in the Western Athletic conference of NCAA Division 1.

Last season he was one of the side's star players, averaging 15.1 points per game and 9.4 rebounds.

As a scholar athlete at Chicago State University, he also excelled academically, winning the prestigious National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) Honours Court award for the 2016-17 season. This recognises college basketball student-athletes that excelled academically.

Palmer, originally from Milwaukee, who graduated from Chicago State University with a Management degree, said: "I am incredibly excited about the opportunity to join the Worcester Wolves to begin my professional career. I want to thank the club for affording me this opportunity and can't wait for the season to begin. It is my goal to do whatever it takes to help the Wolves compete for a championship."

Dale Ryan, the University's Director of Basketball, said: "We are really excited to have obtained the signature of Trayvon for the 2017-18 season.

"Throughout his college career he demonstrated an ability to score big numbers in a variety of ways, whether it's under the post or from the perimeter. He is a tenacious rebounder and exceptional athlete, who I am sure will excite the Wolfpack and BBL fans alike with his high flying dunks and dynamic plays."

"The pairing of Trayvon and Brandon Parrish gives us significant size, athleticism and variety in the combo forward position, with both players providing challenging matchups for opposition teams."

Palmer will join Ashton Khan, Alex Navajas and fellow newcomer Brandon Parrish for the British Basketball All-stars Championship on September 24th at the o2 arena. This is ahead of the first game of the season at home against London Lions at the ¹ú²úÊÓƵ Arena on September 29th.

Tickets for the game against London Lions are now available at or at the ¹ú²úÊÓƵ Arena.
