¹ú²úÊÓƵ students have been honoured for their work in the community, sporting excellence and contributions to university life.
Worcester Students" Union recently held its annual Celebration Week with a Colours Ball, celebrating sporting achievement by students, and it's Union Awards, recognising those students who have made outstanding contributions to the wider community or university.
The Union Awards also included the Student Choice Awards, a chance to recognise teachers or lecturers that students felt had stood out in their time at university.
Awards handed out during Celebration Week included Society Personality of the Year, Community Volunteer of the Year, Sports Club of the Year, Institute Representative of the Year and StAR (Student Academic Representative) of the Year.
Winners were voted on by students from a shortlist of those nominated by students.
Students" Union President, Jade Haley, said: "Celebration Week as a whole is a busy, but spectacular time of year. As a Union, we think it is very important to give students and staff recognition for the hard work they achieve over the academic year. There are group awards, as well as individual awards, for those that go the extra mile during their time here. It is so much fun and fills us with such pride seeing our students and what they have achieved. It's also great to see the hardworking academics getting praise for excellent teaching and support for students."
