Severn Stars Secures New Sponsorship Deal

Worcestershire Knee and Hip Clinic at Spire South Bank Hospital, based in central Worcester, will provide clinical support for team player injuries as part of a season-long deal.

Worcestershire Knee and Hip Clinic provides clinical excellence in sports injuries at all levels including recreational and'professional'teams, such as the"Severn Stars.

Nadim Aslam, a Consultant Orthopaedic Knee, Sports Injury and Hip Specialist at Spire South Bank Hospital, will be working with the team to help prevent, recognise, manage and rehabilitate sports injuries."

Mr Aslam, who was awarded Membership of Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine in 2008, said: "I am delighted to be providing orthopaedic clinical support and expertise to the exciting new netball team for Worcestershire and Gloucestershire, Severn Stars." I will be watching the Vitality Netball Superleague with interest, and wish the Stars every success in their first season."

The Severn Stars is a joint partnership between the ¹ú²úÊÓƵ and University of Gloucestershire. The Club will initially play its home matches at the ¹ú²úÊÓƵ Arena.
