Jade is very excited to join the Worcester Wolves in what is a new era for Women’s Wheelchair Basketball. “I’m really excited to be part of this new league within the BWB structure,” she said. “There’s lots of innovation being put into this and I can’t wait to see what its full potential is going to bring.
“To be playing for the Worcester Wolves brand for the first time is exciting, the team and staff are amazing and I couldn’t be in a happier place; let alone with the best bunch of ladies.”
Mick Donovan, Worcester Wolves Managing Director is very happy to welcome Jade to the club ahead of the new season. He said: “We are delighted that Jade will be joining the Wolves. Whilst we are excited at what Jade will bring to the court as a key player, we also recognise that she has been a leader in several basketball settings and this will clearly strengthen the Wolves challenge.”
The League will be the first of its kind for women’s wheelchair basketball in the world, and the very first professional para-sport league in the UK.
The ¹ú²úÊÓƵ will be one of four High-Performance Partnerships, which also include Cardiff Metropolitan University, Loughborough University and the University of East London, that will each be home to a women’s premier league team.
