Anna Barrett is currently a part-time Lecturer at The ¹ú²úÊÓƵ, having joined the team in September 2023. She also works in a rural Worcestershire school as a Teacher of Science.
In her career as Teacher of Science Anna has worked in a range of teaching and management roles. She undertook the role of PGCE mentor for five years and has experience as a mentor for Early Career Teachers (ECTs), contributing to the support system for educators at various stages of their careers.
Anna also lead the STEM program, within a large secondary school, for over 10 years, a role she thoroughly enjoyed, helping to engage underrepresented groups in STEM education.
SEND has always been a passion, Anna has been heavily involved in developing an inclusive classroom and supporting colleagues through training and mentoring. Developing resources and strategies to make the curriculum more accessible to students with dyslexia is a particular interest for Anna.
